Directly accessible from the campground (with the necessary precautions), these waterfalls offer an incredible panorama and a tranquil force that fascinates young and old alike. Please note that swimming is strictly prohibited due to dangerous currents, but the visual spectacle alone is a memorable experience.

When you vacation at Camping des Cascades in the Gard region, you are in the heart of an exceptional natural site of unforgettable beauty. Right next to your rental, discover the Sautadet Waterfalls: a series of waterfalls and rapids formed by the Cèze River as it flows through the cavities of the limestone rock. Potholes and cauldrons follow one another in a magical whirlpool—you won’t soon forget this impressive spectacle! For your safety, however, swimming or diving in the waterfalls is strictly prohibited.

During your stay, you will have plenty of time to explore the river that flows below the village of La Roque-sur-Cèze. During your walks with family or friends, be sure to explore the surrounding area, soak up the sun on the wide rocky plateaus, and find the best places to picnic. The river offers little corners of paradise for swimming and sumptuous panoramic views of the rocky and wooded surroundings.

Make the most of the sandy and pebble beach located just a stone’s throw from Les Cascades Campground. Here, the river is calm and you can swim peacefully with your children. The aquatic area of our campsite features hot tubs, massage jets, a paddling pool with games for little ones and a large solarium where you can enjoy the southern sun on our sun loungers.

Camping Les Cascades is perfect for children, with a playground equipped with a large wooden castle, a multi-sport field, swings, table tennis tables and a bouncy castle. The mini club, open in July and August, promises fun and activities. Just a stone’s throw from the swimming pool, everything you need for safe fun is right there!

Petanque enthusiasts, get ready for memorable games in an exceptional setting! Our pétanque court, ideally located below the Sautadet Waterfalls, offers a unique view of this natural spectacle.
