The reservation
What is cancellation insurance?
Cancellation insurance is an optional package payable in full and only when booking your camping holiday, corresponding to 4% of the total cost of your stay. This insurance covers the reimbursement of sums paid (subject to providing proof and other conditions) and applies in the cases listed in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The cancellation insurance must be taken out at the same time as the purchase, payable with the first deposit.
What is tourist tax?
The tourist tax is a tax on stays that can be levied by French municipalities recognized as tourist resorts and is collected by landlords, hoteliers, property owners, etc. The rate varies depending on the destination. This tax is €0.61 per night per person over the age of 18 at our campsite.
Can I reserve a specific pitch?
You can reserve a specific pitch for an additional €40. The campsite map is available on our website. This rate also applies if you wish to be next to another pitch or rental accommodation, in which case both customers will be charged €40.
What is the procedure for payment by holiday vouchers (ANCV)?
If you have chosen to pay for your reservation in full or in part using vacation vouchers (ANCV), you must send them by registered mail with return receipt requested, indicating your file number, to the following address: Camping Les Cascades, 693 route de Donnât, 30200 La Roque-sur-Cèze.
Your accommodation
Can we bring one additional person beyond the accommodation’s capacity?
No. For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum number of people allowed in mobile homes must not be exceeded.
The campsite manager will refuse anyone beyond the planned capacity, even if they offer to pay extra. When making your reservation, you must provide the full names and dates of birth of all occupants (including babies).
Is a baby considered a person?
A baby is indeed considered a person in their own right.
Is it possible to put up a tent in front of the accommodation?
You may set up a tent in front of the accommodation, as long as the accommodation’s capacity is respected.
What size are the beds so that I can plan for my bed linen?
You will find this information on our website in the accommodation section, on the page for the mobile home you have rented.
Is there air conditioning in the accommodation?
All our accommodation is equipped with air conditioning.
On-site services
What is the cost of renting bed linen and towels?
- Single sheet kit rental: €18
- Double sheet kit rental: €18
- Towel kit rental: €12
Do you offer cleaning packages?
Yes, we offer cleaning packages for our rentals and also for the private bathrooms at our campsites. The cleaning package for rentals is €95 and the cleaning package for campsites is €50. The cleaning package is included in the price for premium rentals.
Can I bring my own barbecue, or do you provide them at the campsite?
Wood and charcoal barbecues are prohibited on the campsite! Barbecues are not available for hire at the campsite, but you are welcome to bring your own as long as it is electric or gas-powered.
Is access to the activities and the swimming pool free of charge?
Access to activities and the swimming pool is included in your rental price.
Do you have Wi-Fi on the campsite?
Yes, you have access to a free Wi-Fi network throughout the campsite, provided by our service provider Osmozis.
The deposit
Can I find out more about the deposit?
The deposit is taken upon arrival; receptionists take credit card numbers, but nothing is charged.
The inventory is not carried out at the time of departure. If the accommodation is left clean and no equipment is missing, and we have not heard from you within two days of your departure, no deposit will be charged. Otherwise, the cleaning deposit and/or equipment deposit will be charged, and you will be notified by email or telephone on the same day.
Arrival, departure & during your stay
What time can I access my accommodation?
Check-in for rentals is from 4 p.m. and for pitches from 2 p.m. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please contact the campsite for all the information you need for your arrival.
At what time should I vacate my accommodation?
Check-out time is before 10 a.m. for rentals and before 11 a.m. for pitches.
Is it possible to have visitors during our stay at the campsite?
Visitors are welcome at the campsite. We offer two rates: €6 without access to the swimming pool and €14 with access to the swimming pool. You must report your guests to reception upon their arrival.
Is the campsite suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM)?
We have a disabled toilet near the snack bar, however, our entire riverside campsite is on a slope, which makes it difficult to get around in a wheelchair.
Are pets permitted?
Two animals per rental or pitch are accepted (except for category 1 and 2 dogs, new pets or any other animals) for a fee payable at the time of booking (supplement of €6 per night).
Please note that pets are not permitted in “premium” and “4-flower” accommodation.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. They are not permitted near swimming pools, in food shops or in buildings. Vaccination records for dogs and cats must be up to date and will be requested upon arrival.
